With Valentines Day right around the corner, we’re here to talk about some matters of the heart.
For starters, we love having you on our email list. Thanks for being here. That’s not really what we’re talking about here, but I just wanted to let you know!
What we’re talking about today is the relationship you foster with your consumers.
Time and again, studies show that consumers use their hearts when making purchase decisions.
No matter how badly we’d like them to, people don’t make rational decisions.
So what does that actually mean?
It means they’re judging your brand not just by the problem you solve for them, but by how you make them feel.
And that relationship flows through all touch points of your brand—from digital, social, and email, to packaging, your website, the unboxing experience …
We all know this, don’t we? So, why is it so hard to remember?
As an exercise, look at your social platforms. Do they make you want to fall in love with you? How do they make you feel?
Why aren’t we constantly reminding our consumers why they love us?
Maybe it’s because we don’t know why they should love us in the first place. Maybe it’s because love feels too intangible; it doesn’t fit nicely into a budget line.
But you know what is super tangible? Losing out to your competition because you’re not putting the effort into the relationship.
Just like a marriage or friendship, we have to put in the work to keep the spark alive.
If you’re looking to rekindle that consumer relationship in 2024, Walden Hyde is your personal cupid.
We build the brands you love.
